I am pleased and very proud to welcome you to the Kwara Association of Nigeria (KSANG) USA – Seattle Chapter’s informative, lively and secure website. The KSANG Seattle Chapter is a vibrant and progressive chapter of the KSANG National Association. Since joining KSANG in 2004, 5th in the Union, this chapter has and continues to demonstrate vigor, solid character, in constant pursuit of excellence, but more than anything else our chapter enjoys a level of camaraderie not rivaled. Albeit, not a highly populated chapter, the cohesion within the chapter has been its strength, which by all measures, has accounted for the steady and well defined chapter vision complimented by consistent pursuit of united goal.

We have always stood tall, present and accounted for whenever the national body called. The Seattle Chapter hits the national stage in style, be it the national conference, national conventions, our members have contributed and will continue to commit to furthering the interest of the Association here in the United States, in Nigeria and at home in Kwara State. We are a chapter and group of individuals that can be relied upon to offer progressive ideas, support national and local leaderships, and contribute financially to ensure that National Association remains strong while steadily cultivating the ability to reach higher goals.

It is my personal believe that the KSANG National Executive Council of our Association, in recognition of our contributions and strength, overwhelmingly entrusted us with the arduous responsibility of hosting the Seattle 2010 KSANG National Conference/Convention slated for July 01-04, 2010. We accept the assignment with pride. While we believe that the Seattle Chapter has earned this honor, we are not resting on our laurels by any means because we take this assignment as a responsibility and an opportunity to join with all members of the Association to elevate our Association en-route a glorious course.

The Seattle Chapter President who is also the National Vice President was designated by the National President to assemble a team of motivated and dedicated achievers to plan and put on a lively and productive conference and convention in Seattle in 2010. Due in large part to the overwhelming support of the National Executive Council (NEC), National Advisory Committee (NAC) comprising all local chapter presidents and the two Ex-National Presidents, and the sheer enthusiasm of the Seattle chapter members, the momentum is highly charged.

Too many KSANG members fit the description above, but with the help of my colleagues from the other five chapters, a formidable team was assembled and has hit the ground running (hyperlink to the Convention Planning members’ website). At the local chapter level, under the Chairmanship of our highly respected chapter Secretary, every member has been given their roles and responsibilities. The Seattle Chapter is already off to running start.

On behalf of all the eminent women and men of the KSANG Seattle chapter, I welcome you and seek your support in ensuring that our chapter continues to be strong, progressive.
